Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Jan 29, 2015: The U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa is pleased to announce the launch of its new Amharic/English blog, named Kimsha.
In Amharic, one of the local languages of Ethiopia, Kimsha signifies a “tidbit” or “small taste” of something. Our blog aims to provide timely and relevant information in small bites to members of the public interested in learning more about the work of the U.S. Embassy and American culture.
Each week, blog posts will examine topics involving American values, culture and foreign policy objectives relevant to Ethiopia and Ethiopians.
We encourage readers to post comments and questions on the blog and to make it as interactive as possible. We want to hear your views and respond to your comments and questions.
We hope Kimsha will serve as a vital platform to further strengthen our dialogue with Ethiopians and other interested readers and also to provide them with important news and information.
