Dear U.S. Citizens,
Ambassador Michael Raynor invites you to a Town Hall at the U.S. Embassy on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
All adult U.S. citizens living in Ethiopia are invited to attend.
You will receive updates on U.S. initiatives in Ethiopia, as well as information on consular services for U.S. citizens living here.
Complimentary light refreshments will be provided. Hamburgers and soft drinks will be available for purchase to raise money for the 243rd United States Marine Corps Birthday Ball.
Please RSVP to AddisACS@state.gov and don’t forget to:
- Bring your U.S. passport if you don’t have an Embassy ID.
- Arrive early enough to find a parking space (parking is limited around the Embassy), pass through the security gate and get to the meeting area by 1:30 p.m.
- Leave your cell phone and other electronic devices at home or in your car. Otherwise you will need to check them with our guards.
We need volunteers! The consular warden system has been replaced by the American Liaison Network. Citizen Liaison Volunteers (CLVs) assist the U.S. Embassy in contacting American citizens in Ethiopia in case of an emergency. If you are interested in serving as a CLV in your city or region, or as the point of contact for your company or organization, please contact us at AddisACS@state.gov.
