Message for U.S. Citizens: Town Hall Meeting – October 22, 2014

Dear American Citizen(s):

Ambassador Patricia Haslach invites you to a U.S. Embassy Addis Ababa Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the U.S. Embassy’s second floor atrium and will include U.S. Mission staff.  All adult U.S. citizen members of your family are invited to attend. The meeting will include introductory remarks from Ambassador to Ethiopia, Patricia Haslach, who will introduce the new Deputy Chief of Mission.  There will be briefings from the Embassy’s Regional Security Office (RSO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Country Director, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Mission to the African Union (USAU), and American Citizen Services (ACS).

Additionally, consular staff will be on hand to help you update your enrollment with the Embassy and answer questions about American Citizens Services.

  • Please bring your U.S. Passport. Pedestrian access will be granted to all who present a U.S. Passport.
  • Parking will be available outside the Embassy compound.
  • Please arrive early enough to pass through the security gate and get to the meeting area by 03:45 p.m.
