
The U.S. Embassy is proud to offer EducationUSA advising services free of charge. If you are interested in studying in the United States and would like advice, you can speak with our EducationUSA advisor regarding the steps necessary to study in the U.S. Specifically, we can assist you with test preparation materials, school selection and help you identify sources of financial assistance. We hold group advising sessions every Thursday from 2 to 4pm plus individual advising session on Tuesdays from 2 to 4pm. Both the group and individual advising sessions are held at the Addis Ababa American Center located within the National Archives and Libraries Agency (Wemezekir), near Radio Fana head office.
At the Information Resource Center (IRC) at the American Embassy, test preparation books and reference books can be borrowed and returned on Mondays from 8 to 12 noon and on Wednesdays from 2 to 5 pm only. Access to the American Embassy requires pre-registration.
