Study in the U.S.A.

Group of students
The U.S. Embassy is proud to offer EducationUSA advising services free of charge. If you are interested in studying in the United States and would like advice, you can speak with our EducationUSA advisor regarding the steps necessary to study in the U.S. Specifically, we can assist you with test preparation materials, school selection and help you identify sources of financial assistance. We can answer your questions about undergraduate and graduate study, the application and admission process. We advise students through group sessions, high school and university outreach visits, fairs, individual consultations, e-mail, phone, and social media. Our center also welcomes U.S. university visits to Ethiopia and will assist in organizing sessions at schools and American corners.
Out of precaution to minimize the potential spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Center is closed temporarily for in-person visits. Please send us an e-mail at AddisAbaba@EducationUSA.org if you would like to attend our virtual group advising session or book an individual consultation time.
